Got the truck, keys are in. Pulling it into bay 3 this morning — pressure testing the A/C first.

Found it. Dye is showing at the compressor shaft seal, and the clutch is dragging. Photos attached — the green streak is the leak.

Appreciate the photos. Is the drier really necessary or is that a nice-to-have?

Necessary — the drier is saturated once the system is open, and skipping it voids the compressor warranty. Estimate is in your approval panel, and here’s the warranty sheet.
